How we handle information for our text messages.
Congregation Ahavas Tefilah — 96 Kingsfield Drive, Lakewood, NJ 08701
When you choose to sign up for our text messages by texting JOIN to (848) 322-3650, we collect your mobile phone number. We do not collect any other information through our text program.
Your phone number is used only to send you Ahavas Tefilah text messages: the weekly Shabbos schedule (candle lighting and davening times), and occasional reminders about shul events and schedule changes for Yom Tov and fast days. Message frequency varies, about 1–4 messages per week.
Receiving text messages is completely optional. It is not a condition of membership, attendance, donations, or any other service.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Information may be shared only with the service providers that deliver our messages (such as our SMS provider), solely to send them.
Message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. You will receive one message confirming you've been unsubscribed, and no further messages unless you text JOIN again. Reply HELP for help.
